Terms and Conditions
Right Side of the Road Tours (RSRTours.co.uk) operate with the following terms and conditions.
Once a booking is made and deposit received all parties are bound by these terms and conditions and are considered to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions as stated. We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions as required to meet changes in legislation or business needs without notice.
Deposit
A deposit of £100 per person must be submitted with your completed booking form. This reserves a place for you and/or your party. A booking confirmation will be issued specifying the date your balance becomes due.
Payment of Balance
We will send one reminder approximately 90 days before departure. The balance of payment for your tour will become due 60 days prior to departure. Late payment may result in the loss of your deposit and cancellation of your tour or incur additional administration costs. Tours booked within 60 days of departure will require payment in full at the time of booking.
Surcharges
Circumstances beyond our control may dictate an increase in the cost of your tour. In accordance with the Package Travel, Package Holiday and Package Tour Regulations 1992 and EC Directive 90/314EC any increase less than 2% of the original booking price will not cause an increase to you. We reserve the right to amend your final invoice should there be an increase over 2%. In compliance with the above regulations no surcharges will be made within 30 days of departure.
Tour Changes
Arrangements for your tour are made in advance. It is therefore possible that changes may have to be made. In most cases, these changes, if any, will be minor and will not effect your holiday. In the event of a major change we will advise you immediately. You may then either continue the tour with the revised itinerary, accept an alternative of the same or similar value, or cancel your holiday with a full refund.
We are unable to control any deficiencies in services due to weather conditions, road conditions or closures, alterations to ferry timetables, ferry delays, strikes or other industrial action. Where alterations have to occur while a tour is underway, alternative routes or destinations will be substituted where possible. No refund or claim for compensation can be accepted under these circumstances.
Cancellation
If we cancel
We reserve the right to cancel any tour. This is only necessary in exceptional circumstances. In such an event, we would hope to offer you an alternative. Where this is not possible or acceptable, we will issue a full refund. RSRTours will not be held responsible or offer a refund as a result of cancellations caused by any of the following situations: war, riots, civil unrest, terrorism, natural disaster or any unforeseen cancellations due to industrial disputes and/or weather.
Transfer of Booking
In the event of you having to cancel more than 30 days before departure you may transfer your booking to another person. There is a minimum charge of £25 per person to cover administration costs. We reserve the right to refuse a request to transfer a booking. Transfers of bookings within 30 days of departure are not possible.
If you cancel
All cancellations must be in writing to the address given on your booking confirmation and the following terms apply;
